Preiswerte und schöne Appartment-Zimmer, in direkter Nähe zur U-Bahn. Ideal für durchreisende Rucksacktouristen bzw. kurzen Städeurlaub in Berlin. (Achtung: Nur Übernachtungen, Frühstück o.ä. nicht inklusive.)
Lage (Neukölln) etwas abseits: ca. 20-30 Min mit U-Bahn zum Potsdamer oder Alexander-Platz, dafür in Nähe zum schönen Bezirk Kreuzberg.

Nicht im zentrum, aber verkehrsmäßig optimal angebundes stadthaus. Altbau mit ordentlicher renovierung und sehr gut gepflegt. Große zimmer kleines bad; einrichtung: nix von der stange, individuell mit eigenem sympathischem flair!
Toilettenspülung hat bisserl wenig power. Internet (noch) nicht verfügbar, ist aber wohl in vorbereitung.

own appartment and privacy. Kitchen could be better equipted (knifes weren't sharp, no cutting boards). Also lack of big towels was a big minus. If it's mentioned that hostel offers towels, then there should be small and big towel for everyone. Little towel for one week is not enough. Otherwise we are very happy of your hostel!

Close to underground train service, a few restaurants close by, car parking in locked courtyard, nice big apartments rooms however the kitchen is only available if you stay 4 nights or more.

It was excellent value for money and a lovely apartment. The manager was very helpful and accommodating. Our room was more of a self-contained apartment than a hostel room, which suited us perfectly and really made our holiday!

I stayed at Bear Inn's private ensuite and found it to be (beyond super super clean) lovely, cozy and welcoming. I definitely did not expect so much from a "hostel" and so I was positively surprised. As it turned out, I had the best place even from those that had booked hotels nearby (we were there for a conference). Furthermore, the lady that received me was super kind and helpful (I regret that I didn't catch her name!). The location is very convenient too, close to the U-Bahn and around the corner from the bus to Schonefeld Airport. Great place to eat nearby too -everything half price (which made me wary at first) but I had a breakfast there before returning to France that was better from what I've tried in Cote d'Azur -for 5 euros, mind you. In short, great place, kind people, positive energy all around. Feels like you're a guest at a home more than you're in a backpackers' station.

nice place to stay for some nights if you like it quiet and don't need to be in the middle of the city. very close to the u-bahn -> you can reach the city centre easily in half an hour. bathroom was very messy. this wasn't the fault of the cleaning-personal - the other people who stayed there just didn't know how to behave which was really disgusting.

The room was very spacious and clean. I arrived at around 10pm but received very clear direction on how to let myself in. The hostel is not at the city centre but the U-station is close enough, so the location wasn't a problem.

We stayed in a private double room, really nice, clean and big. Toilette was clean as well and had a bath. -that was cool- There was no staff except at the moment of recieving the keys. Nice and cheap restaurant one block away to have beakfast.

1: Cleanness 2: Hospitality 3: Access to station & Internet Cafe About 1, this hostel was the best I've ever had so far. It's not like usual hostels. More clean and quiet. About 2, when I had a trouble about bus in the late night, the owner helped me and offered the room inspite of sudden request. About 3, we can walk to metro & ring ( main rail way ) in 10 minutes. There are 3 Internet Cafe opening in midnight with cheap price. Don't need to find the other hostel.

This was an appartment, it was very very clean, however the 10 euro per night appartmetn does not have a kitchen, but its still one of the best places I have stayed in for ages, it was great to have an apparment for a few days. There was no one staying there 2 of the 3 nights i stayed so I had a whole apparment for myself...it was awesome, its not a hostel its an appartment, it was great. They have more expensive apparments with kitchens etc, but the one i booked on hostel world was awesome soo soo clean

The guy that owned it was extremely helpful and friendly. The facilities were excellent (very hot power shower, big tv etc) and it was a bonus being able to lock my possessions in my room.

In short, great place, kind people, positive energy all around. Feels like you're a guest at a home more than you're in a backpackers' station.

The owners also live upstairs and own the building, so if I had needed anything, they were a buzz or flight of stairs away.

This hostel is perfect for those on a super tight budget but still want somewhere comfortable and quiet to stay. Location is not bad considering the price, there is a underground stop just a minute walk away.

Ich fand es sehr schön, mal in keinem normalen Hotel zu übernachten, sondern in einer Wohnung, die zum Hotel gemacht wurde. Dadurch bekam die Übernachtung etwas persönliches und nicht so anonym wie in normalen Hotels. Außerdem finde ich es klasse, dass es ein Nichtraucher-Hotel ist. Viel Erfolg weiterhin. This hostel is cheap and clean - with great facilities (best shower) and an awesome laundry service. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. Plus the place is nice and quiet.

own appartment and privacy. Kitchen could be better equipted (knifes weren't sharp, no cutting boards). Also lack of big towels was a big minus. If it's mentioned that hostel offers towels, then there should be small and big towel for everyone. Little towel for one week is not enough. Otherwise we are very happy of your hostel!

I stayed at Bear Inn's private ensuite and found it to be (beyond super super clean) lovely, cozy and welcoming. I definitely did not expect so much from a "hostel" and so I was positively surprised. As it turned out, I had the best place even from those that had booked hotels nearby (we were there for a conference). Furthermore, the lady that received me was super kind and helpful (I regret that I didn't catch her name!). The location is very convenient too, close to the U-Bahn and around the corner from the bus to Schonefeld Airport. Great place to eat nearby too -everything half price (which made me wary at first) but I had a breakfast there before returning to France that was better from what I've tried in Cote d'Azur -for 5 euros, mind you. In short, great place, kind people, positive energy all around. Feels like you're a guest at a home more than you're in a backpackers' station.

nice place to stay for some nights if you like it quiet and don't need to be in the middle of the city. very close to the u-bahn -> you can reach the city centre easily in half an hour. bathroom was very messy. this wasn't the fault of the cleaning-personal - the other people who stayed there just didn't know how to behave which was really disgusting.

The room was very spacious and clean. I arrived at around 10pm but received very clear direction on how to let myself in. The hostel is not at the city centre but the U-station is close enough, so the location wasn't a problem.

We stayed in a private double room, really nice, clean and big. Toilette was clean as well and had a bath. -that was cool- There was no staff except at the moment of recieving the keys. Nice and cheap restaurant one block away to have beakfast.

unser Aufenthalt liegt bereits ein knappes Jahr zurück und wir haben uns schon mal im alten Gästebuch eingetragen. Aber der nächste Aufenthalt kommt bestimmt!
Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön und wird immer in Erinnerung bleiben. Wir wurden sehr nett von Frau Hellwig begrüßt und empfangen. Vom Apartment (Peet) waren wir sehr überrascht, da es stilvoll eingerichtet war und der Preis dafür wirklich fair ist. Unsere Erwartungen wurden also mindestens übertroffen. Die Unterkunft im Bear Inn Hostel hat definitiv dazu beigetragen, dass der Berlin-Urlaub in so guter Erinnerung blieb.
Auch die Lage des Hauses ist zwar ruhig, aber dennoch gut angebunden. Die nächste U-Bahn Haltestelle ist nur 3-4 Gehminuten entfernt, und man kann quasi von der Haustüre aus die Hauptstadt erkunden.
Freundlich %26 sympathisch, faire Preise und originelle, stilvolle Zimmer.
Wirklich weiterzuempfehlen.

Jederzeit wieder! Es war ein echter Glücksfall, über ein Reiseveranstalter an das Bear Inn geraten zu sein. Wir hatten nicht wirklich viel erwartet, da der Preis so günstig war. Umso größer war dann unsere Freude, in ein so liebevolles und gepflegtes Apartment zu kommen. Das fing schon mit dem Empfang an; total locker und nett, gute Tipps für Sightseeing, Parkplatzangebot auf dem Hof, Rabatt fürs italienische Restaurant.
Das Apartment selbst war sehr sauber und liebevoll gestaltet, wenn auch z.T. mit ganz einfachen Mitteln. So gibt es statt eines Kleiderschranks eine Schiene unterhalb des Regal Bretts, um Bügel dran zu hängen. Oder die schönen Stuck Elemente unter der Decke sowie die selbstgebauten Säulen, die für leichtes, lockeres Flair sorgen. Dazu passen auch die hellgelben Töne und Wänden, Vorhängen und Bettwäsche. Alles wirkt leicht und luftig. Und es gibt viel Platz zum Atmen und Bewegen. Die Betten sind prima; die sanitären Anlagen völlig ausreichend. Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohlgefühlt. Sozusagen in der Fremde zuhause. Und wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Sehr freundliche Begrüßung mit vielen vielen Tips (da wir zum 1.mal in Berlin waren sehr hilfreich! UNBEDINGT auch beim Italiener Essen gehen..... ca 300Meter)
Bezüglich Sauberkeit, Ausstattung der Appartements und Preise kann man über das Bearinn Hostel wirklich nicht meckern!
Berlin bleibt uns eine sehr schöne Erinnerung - und unsere Unterkunft genau so!!!

wir haben bei Ihnen ein wunderbares Wochenende (20.- 24.9) in Berlin verbracht. Das Wetter war toll, aber vor allem auch unsere Unterkunft im Apartment "Miller" bei Ihnen. Wir waren sehr von Ihrem freundlichen Empfang angetan und haben uns sehr wohl in dem mit viel Geschmack gestaltetem Apartment gefühlt. Die Grösse der Zimmer ist hervorragend. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ebenso. Frühstück gab's bei der freundlichen Bäckerin um die Ecke. Die Nähe zur U-Bahn und damit die gute Anbindung an den Rest der Stadt hat ebenso Ihren Beitrag für unser Wohlbefinden geleistet. Wir werden das BEARINN auf jeden Fall hier in Brüssel in unserem Freundeskreis weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne zu Ihnen zurück beim nächsten Berlinbesuch.

Betreff: Bewertung Bear Inn - drei tolle Tage in Berlin!
Das Bear Inn haben wir zufällig im Internet entdeckt und jetzt, nach unserem ersten Aufenthalt dort, gleich zuhause ins Adressbuch geschrieben. Sehr empfehlenswertes, persönliches Hotel (d.h. eigentlich sind es ja Apartments), in ruhiger Lage mit trotzdem exzellenter Verkehrsanbindung. Die Zimmer sind groß und geschmackvoll ausgestattet, der Empfang war herzlich und nett. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Auch die Frühstücks-Tipps in der Umgebung waren lohnend! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden bei unserem nächsten Berlin-Besuch bestimmt wieder kommen.

Wir haben uns rundum sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Bear Inn bietet ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, viel Platz, ein äußerst angenehmes, geschmackvolles Ambiente (wenn man an die vielen schrecklich rustikalen Ferienzimmer in vielen Hotels denkt!!!)und eine erholsame ruhige Lage abseits vom Straßenlärm. Der Empfang war äußerst herzlich und die Restauranttipps (sehr günstiges gutes Essen)hervorragend. Der öffentliche Nahverkehr gleich um die Ecke.
Wir werden diesen Geheimtipp an unsere Freunde und Bekannte weiter geben und sicher auch selber wiederkommen- hoffentlich ist dann ein Zimmer für uns frei.

Die Zeit in Berlin und besonders in diesem Hotel war wunderschön und wir kommen gerne wieder! Auch wir waren zunächst skeptisch, aufgrund des günstigen Preises. Doch wir wurden sehr positiv überrascht, die freundliche Begrüßung und das schöne Zimmer überzeugten uns sofort! Liebe Grüße

Betreff: Grüße nach Berlin
Hallo!
Wir sind Fans von Eintracht Frankfurt wollten den Verein bei seinem Erstrundenmatch im DFB-Pokal bei Union Berlin unterstützen. Deshalb suchten wir eine günstige Übernachtungsmöglichkeit in Berlin. Nach kurzer Suche im Internet fiel unsere Wahl auf das "BearInn". Zugegebermaßen waren wir recht skeptisch, was uns aufgrund des günstigen Preises erwartet. Allerdings wurden wir angenhem postiv überrascht. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und fühlten uns in dem sehr geschmackvoll eingerichteten Zimmer sofort wohl. Das BearInn können wir auf jeden Fall jedem Berlinbesucher uneingeschränkt empfehlen und wir waren sicher nicht das letzte Mal dort.

Hallo Herr Hellwig,
es ist "ein Kreuz" mit Bewertungen.
Eine positive Empfehlung führt dazu, dass aus einem "Geheim Tipp" ein Top Ziel für Jedermann wird.
Aber wir müssen ehrlich sein und können nur jedem empfehlen, Ihr Haus einmal kennen zu lernen !
Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt, die sehr nette Begrüßung, Empfehlungen und das sehr
helle, freundliche, große, saubere Zimmer sind schon außergewöhnlich !
Ich kann die Bemerkung einer relativ weitere Anfahrt nur bedingt teilen, denn das Hotel liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe an einer U-Bahn
und das Verkehrs Wegenetz ist schon sehr gut ausgebaut.
Reist man über den Flughafen Schönefeld an, ist es sogar nur ein Katzensprung.
Bei jedem weiteren Berlin Besuch wird für uns Ihr Haus die erste Wahl sein und wir empfehlen Sie gerne in unserem Freundeskreis weiter !

Wir waren vor ca. 2 Monaten bei Euch. Alles war völlig in Ordnung. Haben uns wohl gefühlt. Für ein verlängertes Wochenende in Berlin sind die Appartements toll. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Gestört hat uns nur der lange Weg in die City.

Ich bringe gerne meine Verwandtschaft in Apartments unter, ich habe eine sehr kleine Wohnung. So sind dann alle zufrieden und treten sich Zuhause nicht auf die Füße. Meistens sind auch alle sehr angetan von den Appartments, nur meine Schwigermutter nicht, aber die findet imme was zu meckern...:-))

Hallo,
wir waren zwar nur eine Nacht im Bear Inn, aber es hat uns dennoch super gut gefallen. Zimmer sehr sauber und freundlicher Empfang. Preis/Leistung war perfekt! Gerne kommen wir bei unserem nächsten Berlin-Aufenthalt wieder.

Betreff: Zum Hostel sage ich:
Hallo, das "Bearinn" ist sehr gemütlich und ruhig gelegen. Wir waren 1 Wochenende dort und können es sicher gut weiterempfehlen. Einziger Nachteil bei unserem Appartment(Mittermayer im 3.Stock) waren die vielen Treppen,ansonsten sauber, freundlich und empfehlenswert!!!

The place is really taken care off, clean and cute. Oh, and the owners are very friendly, sweet people. The neighborhood around the hostel is amazingly cheap, we had dinner for 5 euros per person in a nice place and the food tasted great. So, altogether, only positive feelings here! Thank you for the lovely stay!

Letztes Wochenende waren wir in Berlin und haben im BearInn residiert! Es war super schön und wir waren überrascht, dass "Kluge" tatsächlich so schön, groß, gemütlich und sauber ist wie auf den bilden hier auf der Site!! Wir haben uns im Bearinn sehr wohl gefühlt und werden es auf alle Fälle weiterempfehlen und gern wieder kommen, wenn wir in Berlin sind!!Wirklich alles TOP!!

Wie gesagt, ich bin positiv überrascht, denn man bekommt nicht überall so wunder schöne Zimmer, die auch so sauber sind, für so einen relativ günstigen Preis! Und die Vermieter sind auch sehr nett(Frau Hellwig):)
Zwei mal war ich schon bei Ihnen und wenn ich das nächste mal wieder in Berlin bin,werde ich auf jeden Fall wieder ins Bearinn kommen .

Betreff: Bewertung
Wir waren für ein langes Wochenende im Apartment "Miller". Es ist sehr sauber und es ist geschmackvoll gestaltet und noch größer und "wärmer" als es auf den Fotos erscheint. Der Aufenthalt darin war einfach nur gut!
(Die Straße selbst ist jetzt nicht gerade spektakulär) aber mit dem Super S- und U-Bahn-Netz kommt man sowieso schnell an alle Plätze in Berlin und es macht richtig Spaß, weil die Stationen oft sehr verschieden sind und auch nachts immer was los ist...
Und auch wenn man zu Fuß Richtung Neukölln die Gegend erkundet, ist es sehr interessant...
Wir gehen auf jeden Fall wieder ins BearInn

Betreff: Our stay at Bearinn
Wir waren bereits zwei mal im Bearinn und es hat uns insgesamt gut gefallen. Die gute U-Bahn Anbindung erleichtert die Erreichbarkeit der Zentren von Ost und West. Als Frühstückstip können wir das Bistro "Sevillia" gegenüber des U - Bahneinganges Grenzallee empfehlen. Preiswert und gut, mit sehr netten Inhabern.
Wir werden bei unserem nächsten Berlinaufenhalt bestimmt gern wieder reinschauen und können nur empfehlen, das Bearinn einfach mal auszuprobieren !

better one than the bearinn. It is one of the cheapest
place to stay, and very homely and comfortable. The
dorms are really clean and the hosts are very friendly and
